Ornagai is an English–Myanmar dictionary app. This policy explains what Ornagai stores on your device, what it sends to third-party services such as Google AdMob and Firebase, and the choices you have.
Ornagai is a dictionary app that does not require an account. The dictionary database is stored on your device so lookups work offline. Ornagai is free and supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob, and it uses Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting.
We do not sell your personal information. Ornagai does not read your contacts, photos, messages, or other apps. Third-party services described in this policy may collect data under their own privacy policies.
Ornagai processes a small amount of information needed to provide dictionary lookups and maintain your settings. Data stays on your device unless described in the next section.
The words you search for are processed on your device against the local dictionary database. Recent searches are kept in your search history so you can quickly return to previous lookups.
Words you bookmark or save to lists are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to a COMQUAS server.
Settings such as font size, theme, default keyboard language, and history preferences are stored in your device's app storage.
The dictionary database and advertisement files may be cached on your device so the app works offline and loads ads faster. Cache can be cleared through your device settings.
Ornagai is a free app. To keep it free, it includes ads from Google AdMob and uses Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting.
Ornagai displays ads served by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect identifiers such as your device ID and advertising ID, coarse location, and interaction data such as which ads you viewed or tapped. Google may use this information to personalize ads based on your activity on this and other apps and websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device's privacy settings, and you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
Ornagai uses Google Firebase to understand how the app is used (for example, session counts and feature usage) and to receive crash reports so we can fix problems. Firebase collects data such as an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system version, language and region settings, and app events. We do not use Firebase to collect your name, email address, or the words you look up.
Ornagai does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location. Search history and favorites remain on your device unless you share or back them up yourself through your device's backup service.
Google's handling of data collected through AdMob and Firebase, including retention and use for Google's own purposes, is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Where required by law, device identifiers used by these services may be treated as personal information under applicable privacy laws.
Search history, favorites, and preferences remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling Ornagai removes this data from your device.
We do not operate an account system or a dictionary-lookup server for Ornagai. Your lookups are not transmitted to COMQUAS.
Analytics and crash data collected through Firebase are retained according to Firebase's retention settings and Google's policies. Identifiers are not linked by us to your real-world identity.

You can review or revoke these permissions in your device settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature (such as ads or reminders) from working.
Ornagai is a general reference dictionary and is not directed at children under 13. AdMob serves ads under Google's policies for ad content, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this policy when Ornagai's features or data practices change. The "Last updated" date above identifies the current version. Continued use of Ornagai after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
