Tarot is an offline app with on-device AI. It has no tracking, no analytics, and no servers of its own. Your readings and journal entries stay on your device and in your own iCloud — we never see them.
Tarot is a local-first, fully offline application. It does not require an account, does not operate a Tarot cloud service, and does not include advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or any form of behavioral tracking. AI interpretation runs entirely on your device — nothing is sent to external AI servers.
We do not save anything. Your readings, notes, and preferences live on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account — which only you and Apple can access. COMQUAS never receives or stores your data.
Tarot only processes what is needed to give you a reading. Everything below is handled on your device.
Card spreads, questions you type, AI-generated interpretations, and any notes you save. All of this is written to your device storage (and your iCloud, if sync is on) — never to a COMQUAS server.
Interpretations are generated by an AI model that runs offline on your device. Your question and the drawn cards are passed to the on-device model only. No prompt, reading, or embedding ever leaves your hardware or is shared with a third-party AI provider.
Settings such as deck choice, theme, language, and sync options are stored in your device preferences and travel only through your own iCloud account if you enable sync.
The app may create temporary files and in-memory caches while rendering cards or generating an interpretation. These exist only for the current operation and are never sent anywhere.
Tarot works with Wi-Fi and cellular data turned off. There is nothing to opt out of — the app simply has no tracking to disable.
Tarot contains no analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, fingerprinting scripts, or third-party trackers. We do not measure usage, build profiles, or collect telemetry of any kind.
COMQUAS does not operate a backend for Tarot. There is no account system, no database of readings, and no log files containing your content on our side — because we have no server to put them on.
Card draws, AI interpretations, journaling, and history all function in airplane mode. The only time the app touches the network is if you manually check for an app update through the App Store — an action you initiate.
If a reading contains a link and you tap it, your device opens it in the browser or mail app you selected. That destination and those apps may collect information under their own policies. Tarot does not control that activity.
Readings, notes, preferences, and caches are stored in the app's local sandbox on your device. They remain there until you delete them, and they never leave unless you turn on iCloud sync.
If you enable iCloud sync, data is written to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit so your readings follow you across your own devices. Apple stores and processes that data under Apple's privacy policy. COMQUAS has no access to your iCloud contents.
COMQUAS collects no personal information, keeps no copies of your readings, and maintains no account records. There is nothing on our side for us to retain, sell, or hand over.
The AI model runs locally. Inference, prompts, and generated text stay on your hardware. No reading content is uploaded to a cloud AI API or used to train models.

You can review or revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time. Revoking iCloud will stop sync but keep your local data intact.
We may update this policy when the app's features or data practices change. The "Last updated" date above identifies the current version. Continued use of Tarot after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
